About this component
A lightweight ambient sound source generated in the browser with the Web Audio API. Choose a noise color, keep the level low, and start or stop it on demand. No audio file, account, network request, or automatic playback is involved; stop if the sound feels uncomfortable.
What it does
- Creates brown, pink, or white noise in the browser with Web Audio
- Audio begins only after the user presses Start and can be stopped at any time
- Volume control is capped at 20 percent and defaults to a low level
- No remote audio, network request, or saved listening history
