Works on every Notion plan. No integration, no OAuth, no server. The trade-off: the widget lives on our host, so it needs network access to render, and a workspace serving thousands of page views a day could hit fair-use limits. For offline-safe delivery, use the HTML block tab.

About this component

An offline solar-time estimate for coordinates you provide. It uses a simplified sunrise equation, a configured time zone, and the selected calendar date. Results are approximate and can be inaccurate near polar regions or in unusual conditions; no location permission or live weather data is used.

What it does

  • Choose a date and configure latitude, longitude, place, and time zone
  • Estimates sunrise, sunset, and daylight duration without a service
  • Does not request browser location or send coordinates anywhere
  • Approximation only; consult an almanac for observation planning

Where people put it

↳A configured personal dashboard or travel page
↳Outdoor event planning at a known location
↳A daylight reference next to a calendar
